As you’ve probably noticed, I’ve been responsible for most of the posts on this blog. Recently though, I’ve decided to open the site up for any students who want to contribute to it. The only catch is this: in order to write on The Blue Line, you need to join the Communications Committee, a brand new supgroup of the GW College Democrats.

What does this committee do, you ask? Well for one, its members get to write posts for this blog. In addition, you will play a role in designing and directing our organization’s publicity strategies. This is a great opportunity for freshmen and anyone itching to get involved in the organization this year.

To join, simply send an email with the subject line “JOIN” to my email address, comm@gwcollegedemocrats.com. Then come to our first meeting (most likely a week from next Wednesday) to find out what else is in store for you on this exciting new committee!

PS: Anyone who posted to this blog before this announcement will be grandfathered into the Communications Committee, and you’ll be on the mailing list just like everyone else. I’m good like that.
